Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour night shift); rotating schedule that includes 2 weekend shifts biweekly
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate care to adult CVICU patients, including post-CABG recovery and complex cardiac cases
- Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support safely and effectively
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring using Swan-Ganz catheters and interpret data to guide care
- Care for arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes and other invasive devices with precision
- Operate and troubleshoot unit equipment including GE monitors, EV1000 and CRRT systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient plans
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in Meditech to ensure continuity of care
- Mentor peers and contribute to a team culture focused on patient safety and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Active RN license (required) and current BLS; ACLS strongly recommended
- Minimum 2 years of adult critical care experience (ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU or other critical care specialties)
- Proven ventilator management experience and comfort with arterial/central line and chest tube care
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, Swan-Ganz, and familiarity with CRRT and Impella is a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to thrive in a 2:1 patient ratio environment
- Preferred: BSN and/or CCRN certification
Education
- Active RN license in a U.S. state (required)
- BSN preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing fundamentals and CVICU specialty skills
- Ventilator management and advanced respiratory care
- Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation (Swan-Ganz, arterial lines)
- Central line, arterial line and chest tube management
- Experience with Meditech EMR and bedside documentation
- Familiarity with CRRT (NextStage), EV1000 monitoring and Impella support
