Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Varied day shifts: either four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or five 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM); Day shift. No weekends, no holidays, no on-call.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in the Electrophysiology (EP) lab to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
- Prepare patients and assist physicians during EP procedures, maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and telemetry, recognizing and acting on changes quickly
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, following safe medication practices
- Document all care and procedure details accurately in Epic to support continuity of care
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, techs, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments and patient education to ensure smooth recoveries
- Maintain competency through Trinity specialty testing and participate in ongoing skills development
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license (active and unencumbered)
- Electrophysiology (EP) lab experience required — you know the EP workflow and equipment
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CPI (Crisis Prevention/Intervention) certification required or current
- Proficiency with Epic EHR for documentation and order management
- Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing
- Ability to pass license/certificate verification and required health screenings
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of cardiac electrophysiology principles and rhythm interpretation
- Skilled in cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic assessment, and telemetry
- Familiarity with EP lab equipment, sterile procedures, and infection control
- Strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Comfortable using Epic for charting, orders, and documentation
- Compassionate patient education and post-procedure teaching abilities
