Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment safely and skillfully to capture high-quality images that guide patient care
• Perform patient positioning and preparation with empathy and clear communication to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Verify patient identity and imaging orders, maintain accurate imaging records, and follow documentation best practices
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and the care team to support timely, accurate diagnoses
• Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure patient throughput
• Educate patients and caregivers about procedures and post-imaging expectations in a calm, reassuring manner

Qualifications

• Active state radiologic technologist license (License/Certificate Verification will be completed)
• BLS required; NRP and TNCC listed as required certifications
• Ability to pass Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Fit Test
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, PPD or IGRA, physical/health statement)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Education

• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field (preferred)
• ARRT certification or registry encouraged where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with radiographic positioning and imaging modalities
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and work under pressure
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment care knowledge
