Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs, behaviors and any changes in condition accurately
• Support mobility, transfers and safe patient handling with attention to dignity
• Communicate clearly with nursing staff, families and interdisciplinary team members
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Assist with restorative care programs and therapeutic activities as directed

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (T-CNA classification noted) in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification required or must obtain upon hire
• Ability to work overnight shifts and thrive in a fast-paced rehab/long-term care setting
• Current, valid work authorization and ability to complete required onboarding (background check, immunizations)
• Travel experience or willingness to work contract assignments is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills including ADLs, bathing, feeding and toileting assistance
• Comfortable with documentation and charting in the electronic health record
• Knowledge of infection control, safe lifting and fall prevention
• Good communication and teamwork skills with a positive attitude
• Basic clinical observation skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
