Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor resident condition and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Support activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and comfort
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Contribute to a positive, resident-centered environment and uphold facility standards
• Participate in shift handoffs and accurate charting to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse credential (LPN) required
• Local candidates only (position listed as LOCAL ONLY)
• Ability to commit to the 19-week assignment from 2026-04-01 to 2026-08-05
• Availability for 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM shifts with every-weekend coverage as required
• All requested RTO must be approved prior to contract approval

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical nursing skills and sound judgment in resident care
• Accurate medication administration and documentation practices
• Clear communication skills with residents, families and team members
• Familiarity with basic infection control and safety procedures
• Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
• Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
