Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient vitals, status changes, and care interventions
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation
• Support patients and families with clear communication and empathetic care

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — required
• Must be local to the Rio Rancho/New Mexico area (Notes: LOCAL ONLY)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts (Wednesday-Friday) and manage 12+ hour shifts

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration and basic clinical assessment skills
• Comfortable with wound care, IV site observation, and treatment follow-through
• Strong documentation skills in electronic health records
• Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Patient-centered approach with attention to safety and detail
