Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and build individualized occupational therapy plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions and adaptive techniques that help patients regain independence
• Document care, progress, and outcomes in EPIC with clarity and professionalism
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams across Livingston and Washtenaw Counties
• Coach patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and meaningful goals
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain high standards
• Adhere to required health screenings and infection-control practices to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license (state licensure required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to complete required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, 2-step PPD or IGRA, etc.)
• Comfortable documenting in EPIC and working across Livingston and Washtenaw County locations
• Willingness to work day shifts and provide coverage for at least one holiday during the assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• EPIC electronic health record proficiency for accurate documentation
• Skilled in occupational therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and adaptive strategies
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Trinity competency frameworks and clinical checklists
• Ability to prioritize caseloads, track outcomes, and deliver patient-centered care
