Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across general, vascular, and OB-GYN areas with care and precision
• Operate and optimize Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10 systems for high quality imaging
• Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and thrombin injections
• Document findings clearly and accurately in Allscripts and manage images via InteleRad PACS
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for a population from pediatric to geriatric
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, OR teams, and other clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Adhere to exam protocols, infection control, and departmental policies to maintain a safe environment
• Support teaching and mentorship opportunities when working with other staff or trainees

Qualifications

• RDMS credential required
• BLS certification required
• NH MIRT Licensure required
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience (Experience: 2 noted in posting)
• Clinical hospital or acute care experience with exposure to general, vascular, and OB-GYN sonography
• Preferred: RVT, OB-GYN certification, AB certification, and experience in the OR
• Strong references and a track record of reliability and teamwork

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of anatomy and pathology with ability to distinguish normal from abnormal findings
• Good understanding of sonographic physics and imaging techniques
• Core scanning skills across a variety of studies and procedures
• Proficiency with Allscripts EMR and InteleRad PACS workflows
• Comfortable performing ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainages, and procedural assistance
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
