Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform ED CT and X-ray exams quickly and accurately to support timely patient care
• Operate fixed and portable imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Provide trauma imaging support when needed, responding calmly in high-acuity situations
• Collaborate closely with the ED team to prioritize imaging and patient flow
• Document imaging procedures and findings clearly in Meditech Expanse
• Maintain radiation safety standards and follow infection control practices
• Deliver compassionate, one-on-one patient care; patient ratio is typically 1:1 in this unit

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant radiology or CT experience
• Experience in a trauma facility or ED setting preferred
• Experience with portable imaging and fixed imaging preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse is a plus
• Teamwork mindset and ability to work independently during night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures
• Proficiency with portable and fixed imaging equipment
• Comfort working in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Ability to prioritize urgent imaging needs and manage patient flow
• Strong documentation skills in an EMR, ideally Meditech Expanse
• Understanding of radiation safety and patient positioning
• Good communication and collaboration skills with clinical teams
