Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding) with dignity and respect
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe mobility and transfers while following facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive, resident-centered environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant credential (CNA/T-CNA) — required
• Travel CNA experience is a plus and welcome for this short-term assignment
• Ability to work the assigned day shift (6:30 AM - 2:45 PM) for the contract period
• Comfortable working in long-term care / skilled nursing settings like Genesis facilities
• Professional, dependable, and ready to start the 9-week assignment (Start: 2026-04-26, End: 2026-06-21)

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs
• Clear communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting
• Accurate documentation and time management
• Infection prevention basics and safe patient handling principles
• Empathy and a resident-focused approach to care
