Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilator settings and provide advanced ventilator management for high-acuity patients
• Perform ABG collection and analysis to guide respiratory interventions
• Provide tracheostomy care and support intubation assist when needed
• Deliver high flow oxygen therapy and bronchodilator treatments to stabilize patients
• Perform airway clearance techniques and support patient transport safely
• Respond to code blue events and participate in critical response teams
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT certification (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required); PALS preferred
• Experience in ventilator management, trach care, ABG analysis, and high flow oxygen therapy
• One year ICU experience preferred
• Comfortable using Meditech documentation and familiar with Drager, Phillips V60, Vapotherm, Metaneb equipment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical ventilation and ventilator modes
• Skilled in ABG interpretation and respiratory assessment
• Proficient with tracheostomy care, intubation assist, and airway clearance techniques
• Experience responding to codes and providing critical care support
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation and common respiratory devices (Drager, Phillips V60, Vapotherm, Metaneb)
