Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams across acute care settings, prioritizing patient safety and image quality
• Operate portable radiography units and perform fluoroscopy procedures with confidence
• Support intraoperative imaging using C-arm equipment in the OR when called upon
• Document all care and imaging in EPIC accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond to trauma and urgent imaging needs in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in call and holiday rotations to ensure continuous patient coverage
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to optimize patient outcomes and workflow

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience (acute care preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with portable radiography and fluoroscopy
• C-arm / OR experience is highly desirable
• Ability and willingness to work nights, call, and holiday rotations
• Cannot have been employed as full-time, part-time, or PRN at any CommonSpirit facility (including CHI and/or Dignity) within the past year

Education

• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and radiation safety
• Comfortable using EPIC for charting and procedure documentation
• Skilled with portable imaging workflows in acute and trauma settings
• Familiarity with C-arm operation and intraoperative imaging protocols
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Ability to prioritize cases in a high-acuity environment
