Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, includes every third weekend and every other holiday (NOC)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients using current evidence-based practices
Perform continuous patient assessment and respond promptly to changes in condition
Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex medication regimens
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and execute patient-centered plans
Lead safe patient handoffs during shift change and ensure clear clinical communication
Float to acute care floors as needed, maintaining flexibility and strong clinical judgment
Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists

Qualifications

Active RN license with License/Certificate Verification required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
Experience in ICU or critical care nursing
Ability and willingness to float to acute floors when needed
Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision making
Proficiency with ACLS and BLS protocols
Familiarity with trauma nursing principles and TNCC guidelines
Comfort with neurological assessment (NIHSS) and ventilator management
Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to perform required unit-specific competency testing
