Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, and PPM
• Set up, operate, and maintain GE imaging equipment to support high-quality imaging
• Manage mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella and IABP and provide ventilator support when required
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR and communicate findings with the team
• Ensure sterile technique, patient safety, and readiness of the cath lab for each case
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and techs to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
• Respond calmly and effectively in emergent situations to support optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Hands-on experience with Impella, IABP, and ventilator support as listed in the role
• Proven experience with Meditech EMR workflows and GE imaging equipment
• Comfort working independently while fitting into a three-person case team
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced cath lab environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab workflows
• Familiarity with vascular and peripheral interventions and electrophysiology procedures
• Skilled in procedural support for LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave therapies, and pacemaker procedures
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic documentation and GE imaging systems
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot Impella, IABP, and ventilator equipment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and independent decision-making skills
