Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the cardiac cath lab during procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile field
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation, watching vitals and responding promptly to changes
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using the Merge system
• Operate and support imaging equipment (Philips and Siemens) during interventional cases
• Assist the interventional cardiology team with a wide range of procedures including LHC/RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, and endovascular cases
• Support device implantations such as ICD/PPM and extracorporeal and mechanical circulatory support when needed (ECMO, Impella)
• Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate efficient, high-quality patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation and help maintain unit staffing continuity

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (as listed)
• Proven cath lab circulating experience and competency in moderate sedation (must-have)
• Experience with Merge documentation is a plus
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and participating in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization and cath lab procedure workflows
• Interventional cardiology procedures (TAVR, TEER, EP, LHC/RHC)
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Proficiency with Merge documentation system
• Monitoring and managing moderate sedation
• Understanding of support devices and advanced therapies (ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM)
