Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents — assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and ADLs
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition accurately
• Assist nursing staff with safe transfers and mobility to prevent falls and injuries
• Document resident care and observations clearly and promptly in the chart
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and communicate changes
• Support resident dignity and independence while advocating for their needs

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Active CNA credential in New Mexico or ability to obtain local authorization
• Local candidate (LOCAL ONLY) — must be able to commute to Albuquerque facilities
• Comfortable working 12+ hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) on scheduled days
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
• CPR/BLS certification encouraged or required per facility policy

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with ADLs, patient hygiene, feeding assistance and mobility support
• Ability to take and record accurate vital signs and report changes
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Solid documentation skills and basic charting familiarity
• Teamwork and effective communication with nurses, therapists, and families
• Dependability, attention to detail, and strong patient-focused empathy
