Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to trauma, burn and surgical ICU patients with compassion and precision
• Perform wound care and manage advanced procedures such as EVDs and massive transfusion protocols
• Respond quickly and effectively during codes and other high-acuity events
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust care plans
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Meditech to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain safe patient ratios and prioritize patient safety and family communication at all times

Qualifications

• Active RN credential required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience required)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills—team players who ask questions and offer help shine here
• BSN preferred
• CCRN preferred
• Comfortable using Meditech EMR and working with critical care equipment

Education

• BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Meditech electronic medical record experience
• Familiarity with critical care equipment and burn/trauma ICU technology
• Wound care, EVD management, and massive transfusion protocol (MTP) experience
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients with 2:1 ICU patient ratios
• Excellent situational awareness, communication, and teamwork skills
