Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams with attention to image quality and patient safety
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and C-arm in the operating room environment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiology to support procedures
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and proper patient shielding are followed
• Complete required competency testing and documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain clear procedural documentation and communicate findings to the care team

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• Verified radiologic technologist license/certification (License/Certificate Verification required)
• Comfortable and experienced with X-ray, fluoroscopy and C-arm use in the OR
• Willingness to complete Trinity skills checklist and specialty competency testing
• Ability to work assigned day shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and patient-centered approach

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent
• Additional specialty training or OR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in X-ray imaging techniques and positioning
• Experience operating fluoroscopy equipment and C-arm systems
• Operating room workflow and sterile procedure awareness
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Competency in procedural documentation and electronic records
• Adaptability and scheduling flexibility for changing staffing needs
