Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and perform ventilator adjustments to support patient respiratory needs
• Administer nebulizer and oxygen therapies safely and effectively
• Provide hands-on respiratory assessment and deliver high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in critical interventions
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately in the EMR

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Current ACLS and BLS required; NRP and PALS preferred for pediatric roles
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (as indicated)
• Comfortable with adult and pediatric respiratory care scenarios depending on assignment
• Ability to complete travel assignment requirements and credentialing in a timely manner

Education

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Associate degree or equivalent)
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management and weaning strategies
• Nebulizer therapy and oxygen delivery systems
• Critical thinking in acute and emergent respiratory situations
• Experience in ICU/NICU/PICU settings (preferred)
• Proficient EMR documentation and interdisciplinary communication
