Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — help with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs and behavior
Document care activities accurately and timely in resident records
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Offer emotional support and person-centered attention to residents and families
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed to keep care seamless

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification (state‑approved)
Local to Camden, ME — this role is local only
Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living (ADL) assistance and safe patient handling
Knowledge of basic vital sign measurement and reporting
Familiarity with infection prevention and safety best practices
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
