Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and document vital signs and resident observations accurately
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
Communicate changes in resident status promptly to nursing staff and supervisors
Contribute to a clean, safe, and respectful environment in the community

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Eligible for or currently listed for work in Maine (local candidates preferred; notes indicate LOCAL ONLY)
Ability to work the overnight shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) and fulfill the assignment schedule
Willingness to complete facility-required background checks and immunizations
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-focused mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection control principles and adherence to facility protocols
Clear communication and teamwork in a long-term care setting
Time management and reliable attendance for overnight shifts
