Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Rotation: 3 on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off (includes weekends as scheduled), local only

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside nursing care to residents
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings in the chart
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and safety
Maintain infection control standards and follow facility protocols
Support admissions, discharges, and smooth transitions of care

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Alabama) required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred or required per facility policy
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required immunizations
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in medication administration and resident monitoring
Proficient with documentation and electronic medical records
Solid clinical assessment skills and basic wound care knowledge
Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
Time management and prioritization during busy 12-hour shifts
Commitment to resident-centered, compassionate care
