Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, promoting dignity and independence
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes promptly to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident environments
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Accurately document care and observations in resident records

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA) required
• Comfortable working the scheduled days and hours: Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Compassionate approach to resident care with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass facility-required background check and health screenings as applicable
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Infection control and safe hygiene practices
• Reliable charting and documentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
