Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical capabilities and design individualized therapy plans
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and safe mobility techniques
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for recovery and rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license (California) or ability to obtain prior to start
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
• Comfortable working a schedule that covers Sunday through Saturday as required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Bachelor's in Physical Therapy or related field; equivalent experience considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and mobility training
• Knowledge of rehabilitation principles and documentation standards
• Proficient at creating and adjusting treatment plans based on patient response
• Able to educate patients and caregivers with clear, compassionate instruction
• Good time management and organizational skills for efficient caseload handling
