Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition changes accurately
• Support safe mobility and assist with transfers using proper body mechanics
• Document care and communicate observations clearly to the nursing team
• Promote infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Build rapport with residents and families, delivering person-centered care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support care plans

Qualifications

• Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (NH or VT credentials welcomed)
• T-LNA certification as listed (if applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Comfort working night shifts and functioning independently within a long-term care setting
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care standards and basic nursing procedures
• Skilled in safe transfer and positioning techniques
• Competent in vital signs measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control best practices
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Teamwork mindset and clear communication with clinical staff
