Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients and ensure safe, high-quality practice
• Provide clear patient and family teaching to promote understanding and recovery
• Deliver stepdown and telemetry care, including management of cardiac drips and advanced monitoring
• Float between Med-Surg, PCU and Telemetry units and adapt quickly to unit needs
• Use Epic EMR for accurate charting, care coordination and interdisciplinary communication
• Collaborate with ancillary services and lead by example to maintain professional nursing standards

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license in-hand or Compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years Med-Surg experience
• Minimum 2 years PCU experience and Telemetry experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (active and uploaded)
• Experience with cardiac drips and stepdown practices; ability to work in stepdown/unit as needed
• Must be willing to float between units and able to work split assignments within a shift
• Own vehicle required and permanent address must be included in profile

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Epic EMR and electronic documentation workflows
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Competence in managing cardiac drips and stepdown interventions
• Excellent patient and family education techniques for adult-geriatric care
• Ability to adapt quickly when floating between units and managing varied patient acuity
• Teamwork, leadership and clear communication with interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with facility onboarding and rapid compliance submission processes
