Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents: bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance
Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Document resident care accurately and timely in accordance with facility protocols
Support safe transfers and adherence to infection control and safety procedures
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or ability to obtain) — state certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Prior experience in a long-term care, rehab, or similar setting is a plus
Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and bedside patient care
Skillful in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Familiarity with basic documentation and charting practices
Ability to recognize and escalate changes in patient condition
Teamwork mindset and strong interpersonal skills
