Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver skilled interventions to improve patients functional independence and daily living skills
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and update goals
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home programs and safety strategies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, solution-focused workplace

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapy license or eligible for licensure in California
• Prior experience in occupational therapy preferred; adaptable clinicians welcome
• Active professional liability insurance as required by employer policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations
• Basic life support certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL and IADL assessment and intervention
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and home modification recommendations
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation and measurable goals
• Comfortable collaborating with physical therapy, nursing and social work
• Time management skills to handle a part-time but variable caseload
