Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical treatment services including individual, group, and family psychotherapy to consumers in assigned program areas
• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans informed by best practices
• Deliver crisis and emergency services when needed, applying sound clinical judgment in high-stakes situations
• Offer information and referral services and act as a resource for community mental health needs
• Provide consumer support services and advocate for client needs within the community and care team
• Design and deliver community education and consultation to promote mental health awareness and program access
• Collaborate with the Director of Outreach Services and Clinical Manager to coordinate care and ensure quality service delivery
• Document clinical contacts and maintain compliance with program standards and supervisory expectations

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or related field from an accredited college or university
• Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or MHP (required)
• At least two years' experience providing treatment to consumers in relevant program areas
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and proven ability to provide direct client services with minimal supervision
• Ability to qualify under WAC 246-341-0515 for specialties such as children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, or emergency services (as applicable)

Education

• Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or a related field

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in individual, group, and family psychotherapy techniques
• Strong assessment skills for behavioral health and crisis situations
• Knowledge of community mental health issues, resources, and referral networks
• Experience with consumer support services, information and referral, and community education
• Excellent clinical judgment, documentation, and case management abilities
• Comfort working independently while collaborating effectively with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams
