Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the cardiac cath lab during procedures to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per unit policy and patient needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP and other cath lab procedures
• Prepare and maintain specialized equipment (Philips, Siemens) and ensure documentation using Merge
• Support complex device procedures such as Impella and ICD/PPM cases with attention to sterile technique and safety
• Assist in patient care before, during, and after procedures to promote excellent patient experience

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Experience circulating in a cardiac cath lab and competent with moderate sedation (must-have)
• Comfortable with a variety of cath lab procedures including LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, peripheral and endovascular AAA
• Minimum experience: 1 year (as indicated)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Education

• Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech background (Rad Tech - Radiology specialty)
• ARRT (R) credential as listed

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Merge documentation system
• Hands-on experience with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of cardiac cath procedures and periprocedural patient care
• Familiarity with moderate sedation protocols and airway/monitoring standards
• Team communication, situational awareness, and sterile technique
