Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced critical care nursing to adult ICU patients with compassion and precision
• Perform and assist with critical procedures such as intubation, central line and arterial line management
• Provide specialized care for EVD patients and manage complex neuro/oncology cases as needed
• Monitor and titrate vasoactive medications, ventilators, and other ICU equipment to optimize patient outcomes
• Document thoroughly and efficiently using Meditech to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
• Support unit staffing and float across ICUs, BMT and PCU floors when needed, maintaining patient safety and unit standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required) and current ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (required)
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Comfortable with critical care procedures: intubation, central lines, arterial lines, EVD care
• Team player who is accountable, caring, and able to work nights and weekends as scheduled
• Ability to work with a 2:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced ICU environment

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles and ICU equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR for documentation and charting
• Skilled in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medication titration
• Proficient in sterile technique and line management (central and arterial)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and respond quickly in high-acuity situations
