Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the Cost Accounting system and lead service line profitability analysis to drive strategic financial decisions.
• Oversee publication of monthly service line and physician practice P&L statements and practice scorecards so leaders have clear, actionable insights.
• Run and validate financial feasibility models (ROI, NPV, IRR, payback) in STRATA to evaluate capital projects and support investment decisions.
• Coordinate reporting to external rating agencies (S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA) and prepare documentation for audits and renewals.
• Implement and maintain the STRATA rolling forecast module and support major strategic and financial planning projects.
• Train managers and directors to interpret productivity software, generate ad hoc reports, and improve labor utilization and budget outcomes.
• Mentor the decision support supervisor and special projects analyst, providing day-to-day leadership and professional development.
• Provide oversight for software implementations including ERP components and leasing software, ensuring integrations meet finance needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and/or decision support with demonstrated healthcare experience.
• Experience with STRATA financial software or a similar decision support/financial modeling tool.
• Proven experience publishing P&Ls, performing feasibility analyses, and reporting for audits and external agencies.
• Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or Health Administration) and financial and/or healthcare certifications.
• Preferred: Experience with hospital contracting, bundled payments, and physician reimbursement strategies.
• Onsite presence in the Dover, DE area (this is an on-site management role).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Health Administration (preferred)
