Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation.
• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray imaging and ensure high-quality image acquisition.
• Apply radiation protection principles and maintain patient safety at all times.
• Administer contrast and operate automatic injectors, adjusting protocols by patient age.
• Assist with interventional procedures and maintain sterile technique during invasive work.
• Maintain patient records, departmental quality assurance, and daily/weekly QC tasks.
• Operate teleradiology transmission systems and consult with referring physicians.
• Assist with supply inventory, ordering, and equipment care in the CT/interventional area.
• Rotate shifts as required and assume department responsibility in the absence of a supervisor.
• Respond to on-call requests and report to work within the required 20-minute window.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT in Radiography (required)
• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
• Able to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple imaging modalities (XR, MRI, CT, Mammography)
• Competence with automatic injectors, contrast administration, and sterile technique preferred
• Comfort assisting with interventional procedures and performing venipuncture as needed
• Ability to work well under stress and adapt to changing clinical needs

Education

• Current ARRT in Radiography
• Clinical competency credentialing within 3 months of hire
