Roles & Responsibilities

Perform complex clinical laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology with precision and care.
Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure tests are completed accurately and on time.
Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures and safety protocols to protect patients and team members.
Document results, maintain accurate records, and communicate critical findings to clinicians in a timely manner.
Collaborate with laboratory colleagues to manage workload, prioritize testing, and support continuity of patient care during nights.
Participate in competency assessments, quality improvement initiatives, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Current and active Nevada State General Supervisor license (required)
Proven technical proficiency performing testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment while maintaining quality and safety
Full-time availability for evening/night shift
Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and commitment to patient-focused laboratory practice

Knowledge & Skills

Laboratory testing procedures and best practices
Chemistry and hematology methodologies
Blood bank operations and transfusion-related testing
Microbiology techniques and specimen handling
Quality control processes and regulatory compliance
Safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment
