Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to pulmonary clinic patients following established standards and best practices
• Perform clinical assessments and assist providers with diagnostic and treatment procedures
• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitoring patient responses and documenting outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
• Respond calmly and effectively during emergencies and support clinic-level emergency protocols
• Use clinical equipment expertly and maintain accurate clinical and office documentation, including ICD-10 and CPT coding basics
• Collaborate as an active member of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider — current and maintained every two years
• Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred (clinic or relevant clinical setting)
• Comfort with medication administration, patient assessment, and use of clinic equipment
• Ability to travel to nearby offices and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
