Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and in line with established protocols
• Collect, process and analyze blood, urine and tissue specimens with care and precision
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Prepare reagents, solutions and media needed for day-to-day testing
• Maintain detailed, accurate records and enter results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and strict safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and healthcare teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care
• Participate in quality control activities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency with hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis and blood banking testing
• Experience using laboratory information systems (LIS) and strong data management skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail, analytical ability, and strong communication and teamwork skills
• Phlebotomy experience or prior hospital setting experience is a plus
• Willingness to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to starting (relocation assistance available)
• Ability to work full-time hours including rotating nights, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts
