Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic procedures using prescribed techniques, adjusting equipment and selecting appropriate exposure settings
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain accurate QC reports for performed procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment, handle contrast material, and position patients safely and compassionately
• Perform diagnostic testing and routine equipment maintenance to keep imaging services running smoothly
• Handle general office duties such as scheduling, answering phones and filing to support patient flow
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to call assignments as needed

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiologic technologist training in an AMA-approved program
• ARRT registered (required)
• CT certification with a minimum of 6 months of CT experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• MRI certification preferred but not required
• Willingness to relocate to and work in a rural area

• Quality control procedures and documentation
• Patient positioning and contrast administration
• Equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance
• Scheduling, phone and clerical duties to support patient care
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
