Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily imaging operations to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
Supervise and mentor Lead and Senior Technologists and provide guidance to technical staff
Manage staffing and resource allocation to meet productivity targets and budget goals
Lead quality improvement efforts and ensure implementation of policies and procedures
Serve as a clinical resource for patient care, positioning, and radiographic technique
Coordinate with nursing, clerical staff, and service engineers to optimize patient flow
Communicate department performance, patient satisfaction, and operational issues to leadership
Investigate interdepartmental issues and implement timely corrective actions

Qualifications

Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by California or current ARRT license
Current CPR certification
Minimum five years experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist in an acute-care setting
Minimum two years supervisory experience in an acute-care setting
Desired three to five years prior supervisory/managerial experience
Desired specialized certifications (NMTBC, MRI or other recognized specialty certifications)

Education

Associate Degree (minimum) in Radiologic Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Joint Commission, ACR, and Title 17 & 22 survey and compliance standards
Strong skills in image quality control, quality assurance, and radiographic exposure principles
Understanding of radiation physics, radiation protection, and radiobiology
Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to evaluate department function, manage resources, and recommend operational improvements
Patient-centered approach with competency in patient care and positioning across age groups
