Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-acuity obstetric care in a fast-paced L&D unit
• Circulate during C-sections and support OR teams when needed
• Manage epidurals, spinals and IV drips such as magnesium with vigilance
• Evaluate and triage OB patients in triage rooms and antepartum settings
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN
• Collaborate with NICU teams with familiarity for Level III NICU cases
• Float within the women and children service line to meet unit needs

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience (explicit requirement)
• Current BLS and NRP certification
• ACLS certification required
• Experience circulating C-sections, managing high-acuity obstetric patients, and IV magnesium administration
• Experience with Meditech documentation and CPN systems
• Scrub and circulating OR experience helpful
• AWOHHN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate - preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Labor and delivery management including LDR workflow
• OB triage assessment and prioritization
• Circulating in C-sections and OR familiarity
• Epidurals, spinals and cerclage procedure support
• External cephalic version experience
• IV drip management for medications like magnesium
• Comfort caring for patients requiring Level III NICU coordination
• Proficient Meditech documentation skills
