Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered occupational therapy care under the supervision of the OTR to help clients regain independence
• Implement individualized treatment plans and adapt interventions to meet functional goals
• Document progress clearly and timely to ensure continuity of care and compliance
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies to support long-term function
• Assist with equipment recommendations and adaptive device training to enhance daily living

Qualifications

• Current COTA credential (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
• Montana licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Active BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to commit to a 13-week contract and work a guaranteed 36 hours/week
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by the client
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude

Education

• Associate degree or diploma from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Graduation from an accredited OTA/OTA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic interventions for activities of daily living and functional mobility
• Comfortable with thorough documentation and outcome tracking
• Patient education and family training expertise
• Ability to adapt interventions for a variety of ages and diagnoses
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
