Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Serve as the patient advocate throughout the surgical experience
• Utilize the nursing process and established standards of care to ensure safe outcomes
• Direct and supervise assigned personnel while maintaining a smooth workflow
• Collaborate with the Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, and RN Team Leader to coordinate care
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures and document nursing actions clearly and promptly

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (position titled Registered Nurse)
• Perioperative nursing experience with competency in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
• Experience functioning as a circulating nurse and providing surgical patient care
• Demonstrated ability to act as a patient advocate and to supervise assigned staff
• Comfort working day shift flex hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/ADN or BSN) and active RN license

• Perioperative Nursing expertise
• Circulating nurse skills and surgical patient care
• Strong patient advocacy and application of the nursing process
• Clinical supervision and team leadership capabilities
• Proficient in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing practices
