Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and occupational needs using professional judgment and clinical expertise
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and quality of life
• Provide skilled OT interventions across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
• Document thoroughly and accurately in the EMR to track progress and ensure continuity of care
• Manage a diverse caseload independently while prioritizing patient-centered outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and transitions
• Educate patients and families on strategies, adaptive equipment, and home safety to support long-term gains
• Engage in continuous professional learning and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing (required)
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification (current)
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• 2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings (preferred)
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and basic computer skills
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Compliance with California OT regulatory requirements

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
