Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography exams with attention to comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce high-quality images
• Ensure compliance with ACR and MQSA standards for image quality and documentation
• Conduct mammography quality assurance checks and maintain accurate records
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the exam
• Collaborate with clinical team members to support timely, patient-focused services

Qualifications

• ARRT certification with advanced mammography credentials (required)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Experience with mammography quality assurance and ACR/MQSA compliance
• Strong patient-care skills and ability to create a positive exam experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Screening mammography techniques and image quality optimization
• Mammography Quality Assurance and MQSA standards
• ACR standards and documentation practices
• Operation and troubleshooting of mammography equipment
• Patient positioning, comfort techniques, and compassionate communication
