Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
• Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and fall-prevention measures
• Accurately observe and document patient status, behaviors, and care provided
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to maintain continuity of care
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Respond to resident needs promptly and with empathy, especially during night hours
• Assist with meal and medication support as directed and chart appropriately

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — VT or NH licensure referenced
• Reliable transportation (local-only position — you must be able to commute)
• Comfortable working night shifts and every other weekend as required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completion of a state-approved LNA program or equivalent certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) support and basic patient care
• Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety procedures
• Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
• Ability to prioritize tasks during overnight shifts and handle emergencies calmly
