Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Langhorne, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Unspecified days, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift, 30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support using proper body mechanics
Document patient interactions, care provided, and any observed changes clearly and promptly
Maintain infection control and safety practices to protect residents and staff
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists and family members to support coordinated care

Qualifications

Active state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
Ability to follow care plans and accurately document clinical information

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Proven ability to perform patient transfers and mobility assistance safely
Competence in taking vital signs and observing/reporting changes
Familiarity with infection control and standard safety procedures
Clear verbal and written communication skills for documentation and teamwork
Basic comfort with electronic charting or willingness to learn EMR systems
