Roles & Responsibilities

Lead daily department operations and provide hands-on technical leadership to CT staff.
Perform CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic images.
Ensure staff competence by coaching, mentoring, and serving as a technical resource.
Maintain quality assurance processes and follow CT safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
Troubleshoot CT equipment issues and coordinate with biomedical/engineering as needed.
Document procedures and patient interactions accurately and maintain regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with radiologists, nursing, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist (required).
Current Computed Tomography (CT) certification by the ARRT (required).
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required).
Minimum three (3) years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Prior leadership experience preferred.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, repetitive motions).

Education

Required certifications/licensure: Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT CT certification, BLS.

Knowledge & Skills

Computed Tomography (CT) operation and CT safety protocols.
Radiologic technology fundamentals and radiation safety practices.
Quality assurance processes for CT imaging.
Patient care and effective patient communication.
Familiarity with CT equipment operation and troubleshooting.
Team leadership and ability to mentor clinical staff.
