Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients and outpatients within the Radiology department
• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after radiologic and interventional procedures
• Administer medications and manage patient monitoring during procedures, following protocols
• Coordinate total nursing care and collaborate with ancillary teams to ensure smooth patient flow
• Develop and help maintain clinical protocols, policies and procedures for interventional radiology
• Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and post-procedure care
• Lead and support the team during unexpected emergencies that occur during radiological procedures
• Document care accurately and efficiently in EPIC to support continuity and patient safety

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Hampshire or Compact RN license
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required up front for agency submissions
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (must upload documents)
• Minimum 2+ years recent Critical Care/ICU/ER/PACU experience
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Interventional Radiology or Conscious/Moderate Sedation experience preferred
• Previous travel RN experience preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle; permanent address and all RTO must be included in profile

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring across diagnostic and interventional imaging
• Drug administration and peri-procedural medication management
• Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Mammography care workflows
• Special procedures support and emergency response during radiological interventions
• Patient and family teaching with clear, compassionate communication
• Leadership and teamwork in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
• Proficiency with EPIC for charting and care coordination
