Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care and ventilator management for patients of all ages and acuity levels
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and interpret findings to inform care
- Manage neonatal and pediatric respiratory needs with confidence and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient treatment plans
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide advanced life support as required
- Document interventions accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — must be RRT (CRT not acceptable)
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP (all required)
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory experience required
- Strong critical care and ventilator management experience
- Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions per client)
- Willingness to provide skill sheet, resume and credential documents with submission
Education
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program (as required for licensure)

- Advanced ventilator management and troubleshooting
- Cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and monitoring
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care best practices
- Critical care principles and acute patient assessment
- Clear communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
- Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to protocols
