Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (3 shifts per week). Examples: Day shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Night shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule includes both day and night rotations and may include weekends.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to ICU and PCU patients
- Monitor and interpret patient condition using advanced assessment and telemetry
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and titratable drips safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update care plans
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
- Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records
- Mentor and support colleagues to foster a culture of excellence and safety
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license (Nebraska or nursing compact license preferred)
- BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred for ICU/PCU practice
- Previous ICU or progressive care (PCU) experience preferred
- Travel nurse experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to pass facility onboarding checks and meet Regional West performance expectations
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and prioritization skills
- Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced cardiac monitoring
- Proficiency with medication administration, critical drips, and titration
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills
- Adaptability to rotating schedules and changing patient acuity
