Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, meaningful treatment plans
• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to help patients regain independence in daily living activities
• Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and care teams to optimize outcomes
• Document treatment progress clearly and adjust plans based on patient response
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and home exercises to support long-term function

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered care mindset
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort working in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and documenting per facility standards

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
